This film was made as part of the Looking China Program 2026. It is a short documentary focusing on Wang Hao, a Peking Opera performer. The film explores ideas of art, tradition and family and the importance of all three.
Distant Voices

This film was made as part of my Masters course, we were assigned to create a film based on a research object. I chose for my object an old landline telephone. As a result I created a short experimental essay film, featuring DV footage of disused industrial sites in Lincoln accompanied by recordings of disparate phone calls.
The Camp Cartoonist

This film was made as part of a collaboration between Lincoln Arts Centre, Lincoln City Council, Lincoln School of Creative Arts and the International Bomber Command Centre Digitial Archive. It tells the story of Gordon ‘Todd‘ Hawkins, a member of RAF bomber command who spent WW2 in a Prisoner of War camp and passed the time by drawing cartoons.
Emillia Zirker: In Their Own Words

This film was made as part of a collaboration between Lincoln Arts Centre, Lincoln City Council and Lincoln School of Creative Arts. It focuses on Emillia Zirker, who works for the Lincoln City foundation, showcasing the valuable community based work that her and the foundation do.
The Well

A short documentary telling the story of Little Hugh of Lincoln and the subsequent persecution of Lincoln's Jewish population. The film also highlights the similar persecution happening today, featuring footage filmed at right wing protest rallies.
Vanishing Act

A short comedy film written and directed by Finlay Dodd. The film was screened at Lincoln Arts Centre as part of IndieLincs Film Festival and was nominated for a Graddie, a student film award for the best Graduation films in the UK.
